Why at Eden Life you may ask?
Eden Life Academy focuses on grooming individuals to a state where a child is able to be innovative and critically think independently.
Our pupils are as young as 3 years old. We hope to accommodate pupils from daycare grades up until 7th grade as we extend our classes.
We have carefully accessed the background of each one of our pupils. Most if not all of these children come from impoverished homes where even having a meal to eat each day is a luxury.
We believe that once a child is granted education it will propel them in the right direction for the future. Literacy is however beyond just being able to read and write. It is also the ability to understand the world and how its systems operate.
This is our aim. To not just teach them to read and write but for them to be granted the weapons to survive in the world.
We offer guidance and counselling lessons for all grades (tailored for each specific class). These classes are vital as in our typical African culture it is a norm to speak to children about topics such as sexuality, abuse etc.
Once a child has been admitted into our institution they become our children. We assume the role of a parent, educator and friend in the lives of the pupil.
